Trésor Estate Sales came across these gorgeous (super heavy) solida brasss bouillotte lamps. Bouillotte (pronounced “boo YAHT”) was a card game (similar to today’s poker) that was wildly popular in France in the 18th century. In fact, this form of gambling became so popular that they created both a table and a lamp specifically for the game. The lamps we found offer the adjustable candle holders, but also over a modern light bulb option.
We are asking $175 Each or $325 for the pair. They are in great condition and the lamp shade is a stunning deep green that seems to change with the light. Arrow accents at the top offer a touch of uniqueness. Please contact us directly if you are interested in purchasing. We are located on Aquidneck Island, Middletown, RI.
