This unusual item uses a spring-loaded mechanism to shoot quarters into the Turnpike Tolls during the 1960s. Designed to pay highway tolls without stretching or losing coins in the street, this was the closest thing commuters had to the EZ Pass.
It’s been rumored that these guns were actually used in low-budget sci-fi movies. This “turnpike toll gun” is perfect condition with it’s original box and instruction card. Measures 5 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches. A wonderful rare collectible!
